Filming local talent and touring groups at different festivals across the country, this program has Jim Rea wearing many hats. Writing, producing, shooting, and editing 2 seasons and 26 episodes.
Tradition: Ozarks Folk Music
A hour long documentary about the people and music of the “Ozarks” (SW Missouri and NW Arkansas). Jim Rea wrote, shot, and edited this hour long feature and has been featured on PBS multiple times.

Jim Rea played audio engineer, producer, and editor on DU UnCut. Musicians came to Drury University from Dallas, St. Louis, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas City, Memphis, and as far as Africa to perform as we captured video and audio. We produced a 13 episode series that airs on PBS in the same midwestern markets as the performers hail from.
